Local Pocono Farmers Market Reviews

Which Farmers Markets have the best fruit? Garlic? Our Farmers Market Reviews can help you decide where you are heading this weekend.

  • PP&L Lake Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center

Pike - Wayne Earth Day Festival

1st year for the Earth Day Farmer's Market Earth Day Farmer's Market. I have attended the Festival for the last 5 or 6 years and it has always been fun and informative. Lots to see, free lectures, solar power info, free crafts for kids. Good parking, Handicapped accessible, clean restrooms.

  • Lake Wallenpaupack Community Farmers Market

If they can get off the ground, this will be the first season for Lake Wallenpaupack.

  • Dansbury Farmers' Market

    TBA

  • Hawley Farmers Market

4/09 UPDATE The market is better set up this year and this should help alleviate the lack of parking.

10/08 Small market, high quality products. Great mushrooms & the green bell peppers were HUGE. Small parking lot. It's better to park at Bingham's Park or the Hawley IGA (just down the street)and walk over.

  • Milford Farmers Market

    TBA

  • Monroe Farmers Market

    TBA

  • Wayne County Farmers Market

8/08 Usually 10-14 vendors. Good parking. If you come down Main Street (instead of Commercial St) you can park in the large metered lot next to the Honesdale National Bank. {The parking meters are free on Sat & Sun.} Then you can walk Main St and cross over the train tracks, near the Train Museum, to the market.

  • Dave's Super Duper Farmers Market

This is the first season for this little market. Should be up by late May. Small, just 2 vendors. Lots of unusual & "baby" vegetables. Good Parking.

  • Mahoning Farmers Market

3/08 I hear that smoking is not longer permitted inside. I will check it out soon.

4/07 Indoor. Smoking was allowed inside last time I was there. Not great ventilation, gave everything a "stale" feeling. Good Parking.

  • Jim Thorpe Community Farmers Market

If this new market gets off the ground I will let you know.

  • Matamoras Farmer & Flea Market

    TBA

  • The Pocono Farmers Market Reviews will be updated throughout the season. We will also try to review new markets as soon as they open.
